Taking it To The Streets!

The IntelliSign™ family of products can be installed as a standalone solution or as part of the IntelliCON™ Priority System.

The IntelliSign/DMS™ multipurpose, fully programmable LED displays are designed to address both commercial applications and safety issues as outlined by Homeland Security and the Justice Department. The product line consists of six distinct models available in various sizes. From full color signs ideal for public works imaging and commercial applications to our medium resolution signs perfect for text and lane control messaging.

The IntelliSign™ product family has been designed specifically for arterial use and deployment within the community. The signs are approximately as tall as a single traffic head and twice as wide, allowing them to blend in with the neighborhood yet highly visible when activated. IntelliSigns™ help address major traffic management issues by providing a mechanism for local governments to "direct" motorist behavior in response to emergencies or other community requirements.

IntelliSigns™ can be a cost effective solution for crisis alerting at colleges and schools, directing traffic at sporting events, posting of traveler information and public service messages.

Operational Overview

IntelliSigns™ message management can be fixed or dynamically controlled remotely. Access to the signs can be either a land-based network or entirely wireless.

The DMS signs installed in an intersection are controlled by the IntelliCorr™ Module contained in the intersection traffic cabinet. Control and message selection commands are broadcast over a secure 418 MHz radio link to all of the signs simultaneously. Because each sign has a unique address, different images or messages to multiple signs can be downloaded by the IntelliCorr™ Module.

IntelliSigns™ are highly reliable, low power LED variable message signs, providing emergency vehicle direction information to all motorists and pedestrians. They can also provide evacuation routes, weather warnings, HAZMAT detours, and Amber Alerts. See IntelliSign™ Sample Images
